The pink granny square blanket is finished and it came out beautiful I must say! I’m getting better at sewing the squares together as I found that attaching strips of the squares creates a much neater and straighter seam than attaching them individually. I sewed the strips together using single crochet and it made for a much thicker fabric and therefore a warmer blanket.
The border is a half double crochet stitch and then a pretty five double crochet shell stitch that created a nice wavy effect.
I’m happy to report that my customer is extremely happy with how it turned out and that’s what counts!
