Giving Back

As most of you already know, I have been crocheting for a few years now and find much enjoyment and satisfaction from creating something that is not only pretty but functional as well.

To that end, I have decided to start donating hats to Halos of Hope, a wonderful non-profit organization that donates handmade hats and caps to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. When you purchase a hat from my Zibbet shop, I will donate a hat to Halos of Hope. This will be called my YBO/IDO campaign (you buy one, I donate one) and will be on the title of each hat listed in my shop.

To find out more information or if you would like to become a volunteer, click on the link to their website: There you will find a blog, stories of hope, stitch patterns, and much more.

Thanks so much for your support!

What a super idea. Periodically I knit chemo caps and donate those…such a good feeling.

Thanks Barbra, I agree, is a really good feeling to do this especially something so easy to make as a hat that will make someone feel better going through chemo. I hope to do this for as long as I can.
