I finally finished one of my custom orders for a friend. I absolutely love making this granny square totebag, it’s very easy and can be made in a variety of different colors. I added a burgundy-colored lining to this one, I think it adds a warmth with the cream. I also added a little change purse as a gift 😀
If you’d like one custom made, you can send me a message in my shop at https://www.zibbet.com/suestitches with your color preferences. Price is $40.00 plus $6.00 shipping and handling in the U.S. (if you are outside of the U.S., please state which country and I will advise the shipping cost).
Enjoy your weekend and happy crafting..
This is absolutely breathtaking! I’m hoping to one day knit a shawl like this!
I say this, not to antagonize the knitting-gods-that-be, but my current lace shawl project is not as masochistic as it could be and I am instead constantly thinking about undertaking a real Shetland Shawl project. Hi everyone! Sorry for my very long absence here, I guess life got in the way! Anyway, I’m glad to be back and hopefully will be posting more often! Right now, there are reductions on all items in my shop! Stop over and take a look, there aren’t many items listed at the moment, but with school approaching, I’m sure you’ll be able to find something for a returning student, or purchase something nice for yourself!
Click here to visit my new and improved shop; there have been some changes to the Zibbet website since I’ve been here last: https://suestitches.zibbet.com/shop
I’ll be adding more items soon just in time for the cooler weather also 😀
Have a great week!
Visions of Spring: Flowers…Pastel colors…Easter…Amusement parks… This is a just an inspirational post about all the favorite things I love about that beautiful season! Enjoy!
I believe everyone in the knitting world has seen the photo of these cabled socks somewhere, Google, Pinterest, and of course crafty blogs (including mine), but the question that has come up a few times is, “where’s the pattern”? Well, after an exhaustive search to satisfy my own curiosity, I finally found it on Etsy! (Click on the photo for the link) Funny that the seller lives only 20 minutes away from me 🙂

You might want to check out this page on Pinterest also, they have such beautiful posts of other knit socks and slippers that you may be interested in making! http://www.pinterest.com/starrgrams/knitting-stuff-socks-slippers/
Sorry for not posting as often lately, I’ve been so busy working my day job and finishing up custom orders, which means I’ve let this poor blog fall to the wayside 😦 Hopefully the new year will give me a little down time!
I’ve got great news though, I am having a “33 Days ‘Til Christmas” sale in my shop right now and ends Monday, November 25th at 5 pm EST! Specially marked items have been marked down 33%; that’s major savings on gift ideas such as blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, and more!
Just click on the sale sign that’ll take you to the shop to start shopping and saving!
Have a great weekend everyone!
