It’s Been Awhile!

Hi everyone!  Sorry for my very long absence here, I guess life got in the way!  Anyway, I’m glad to be back and hopefully will be posting more often!   Right now, there are reductions on all items in my shop!  Stop over and take a look, there aren’t many items listed at the moment, but with school approaching, I’m sure you’ll be able to find something for a returning student, or purchase something nice for yourself!

Click here to visit my new and improved shop; there have been some changes to the Zibbet website since I’ve been here last:

I’ll be adding more items soon just in time for the cooler weather also 😀

Have a great week!

A Knitty Halloween

I love Halloween, the candy, cute kids dressed up in their costumes, but most of all I love the colors.  Here are some great knitting patterns for pumpkins, costumes, monsters, and all things related to that spooky and fun holiday.  Click on the photos for the websites to the patterns.

Hope you had a fun and crafty weekend!

Friday Favorites: Easy Knit Patterns I’m Loving Right Now

I’m on a mission to find as many free and easy knit patterns as possible! I’m really getting more and more into this craft, and I am hoping to learn more stitches from these patterns.  If you’re interested in making these as well, just click on the photos for the link to the website!

Love this chunky knit infinity scarf, I will be making a lot of scarves I’m sure of that.

I love this button beret made with Stitch Nation’s Full o’ Sheep Yarn. The color is gorgeous!

This is the most adorable blanket and booties I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure if the pattern for the blanket is easy, but the booties are worth a try!

Dishcloths are a great way to learn increasing and decreasing knit stitches, and they make a great addition to a housewarming gift basket!

What will be on your hooks and needles this weekend?  🙂

Getting Ready For Fall/Winter!

I’ve already gone through my yarn stash today to see what I have and what I need.  I don’t seem to have much bulky or sock yarn, so that is on my list to get.   I tend to make a lot of blankets, scarves, hats, and gloves for the cooler months, so with that said, these are the yarns I would like to purchase within the next few weeks:

Have you started on any new projects for fall and winter or gotten your yarn stash organized?

I’m Falling for Autumn… :)

My favorite time of the year is fall.   I absolutely love the cooler weather,  the beautiful colors of the leaves, and the chance to finally wear scarves again, which is my favorite accessory to crochet too!    Deep reds, oranges, greens, and browns are such a wonderful color combination and you can count on seeing these colors on items in my shop very soon!

Here are a few photos and a video to usher in my favorite season:
